The services listed below typically begin from the time you 'start' (as either a Freshman, Sophomore or Junior) and extend through the end of your Senior year. Or if you need help in just a few areas, we can address your needs that way as well. Through exploratory meetings with students and parents, we will focus on developing a personalized college list and execution plan for your student that guides them through the entire admissions process.  Comprehensive college planning services typically average about 40 hours of consulting time.  This time is spent meeting with students and families, doing independent research, reviewing written works, and ongoing communication with you via Zoom, phone, email and text to monitor the execution of your student’s application plan. Services are personalized to each client needs and can include:   

1. Academic Coaching. Transcript review; strategize ways to strengthen profile; discuss individual classes; develop strategies to address learning issues and referral to tutors as necessary; plan future coursework.
2. Extracurricular Profile Review. Review and guidance for documentation of academic and extracurricular activities. Complete resume and profile; suggest options for enhancing it; plan summer activities; suggest extracurricular activities to supplement academic interests. 
3. Standardized Test Strategies. Timing, strategy (ACT v SAT), preparation plan options (ACT, SAT, AP exams).
4. Major & Career Selection. Assessment, exploration, and guidance. 
5. College Selection Criteria Assessment. Identification of academic majors, location, cost, admittance criteria.
6. Personalized Formulation of Target College List. Strategically developed, updated as needed, research guidance for students and tools provided.
7. Personalized Timeline. Manage the college application process and provide regular checkups to monitor execution.
8. Demonstrated Interest Guidance. Planning for college tours, college fairs and information sessions.
9. Financial Aid and Scholarship Guidance
10. Application Essays. Guidance on researching essays, brainstorming topics, review and editing written works.
11. Letters of Recommendation. Guidance on determining which colleges require, which teachers to ask and timing.  
12. College Application Guidance. Navigating various application platforms, research and organization of materials required, application strategy (Early Decision, Early Action, Regular), tips for filling out college applications.

* Student athletes needing direction to identify appropriate colleges and manage the NCAA recruitment process typically utilize a total of 50-55 hours of consulting time.
