Comprehensive Packages or Hourly Services

 Comprehensive Packages


The comprehensive package option for college admissions counseling includes the services noted below from the time you 'start' (as either a Freshman, Sophomore or Junior) through the end of your Senior year. Through exploratory meetings with students and parents and outside research time, we will focus on developing a personalized college list and execution plan for each student that guides them through the entire admissions process.  Packages typically average about 40 hours of consulting time.  This time is spent meeting with students, doing research, reviewing written works and applications, and ongoing communication with students and families via phone, email and text to monitor the execution of the student’s application plan. 


Typical services can include:

  1. Academic assessment and review of future courses (Accelerated, Honors, AP classes)
  2. Testing strategy and plan – ACT v SAT and SAT Subject Tests
  3. Athletes: Guidance on navigating the NCAA / NAIA recruitment process
  4. Development and review of activities, honors and awards resume
  5. Guidance for extracurricular and summer enrichment activities (sports, clubs, volunteer work, part-time jobs)
  6. Guidance and plan for visiting colleges and demonstrating interest
  7. Exploration and guidance on interest, major, career selection
  8. Identification of initial college selection criteria: majors, location, cost, admittance criteria
  9. Personalized formulation of target college list (Reach, Match/Possible, Safety/Likely and Likely & Affordable schools)
  10. Preparation of a personalized timeline for managing the college application process and regular checkups to monitor execution
  11. Guidance on financial aid and scholarships
  12. Brainstorming essay topics, review and editing of eight written works
  13. Review and editing of Teacher Letter of Recommendation Packets
  14. Review and editing of college applications
  15. Interview preparation 
  16. Final college decision support
  17. Transition to college support

Hourly Services


For those needing focused help in one or two areas above or for Seniors who have realized they need some last minute assistance refining their college list, assistance with essays or need help developing a plan to execute their college applications.  


Other services offered an hourly basis include:


  • Resume development and review for college internships or post-graduation employment
  • LinkedIn Profile development and review


Pricing: College Admissions Counseling

 

Comprehensive Package Fees are based on 'Start' time.  Pick the one price level below that applies to your contract sign date.  This is the total cost for all the services noted to the left, through June of your student’s Senior year in high school.


$4,950 Total Price if you sign up prior to September 1st of Sophomore Year (represents total price through June of Senior Year) 


OR


$5,450 Total Price if you sign up after September 1st of Sophomore Year (represents total price through June of Senior Year) 


Hourly Services are billed at $150 per hour.

(Minimum of 4 hours must be purchased for hourly services)
